Regarding HPV, it's estimated that 2.2% of Tunisian women are infected with HPV-16/18 infection at a given time, and 69.5% of invasive cervical cancers are attributed to HPVs 16 or 18. According to a 2016 report, cervical cancer is the third most frequent cancer among Tunisian women.
