* If you need an examination and potential treatment I would recommend | * If you need an examination and potential treatment I would recommend Istiklal Hospital. I saw a breast specialist there and underwent a breast ultrasound. The doctor was Dr Ali Jad Abdelwahab (http://istiklalhospital.com/), he spoke fluent English and was very reassuring. He followed up after 3 months and repeated the ultrasound. I felt very comfortable with this doctor, there was always a female nurse present. I was provided with a report and a CD with the ultrasound images to take back to the UK with me. Each consultation and ultrasound was 30JD (paid in cash). While my appointments were made through my insurance company the price for the two appointments was below my excess. I was surprised at the cost and pleased with the treatment I received.
