Legally, it's not completely clear what is allowed or not allowed -- but it is informally available, and women generally report no problems finding the pill. There have been British media reports of Dubai pharmacists allegedly asking women for marriage certificates before issuing birth control pills. But Dubai pharmacists have contested this story and see it as a falsification.
